Yoga optimizes the health of the body and mind. There are so many forms of yoga. At Core Fitness Ltd. We teach hatha yoga, focusing on building strength, flexibility, and reducing stress. All physical yoga is hatha yoga. Although traditional yoga has much to offer, it isn’t necessary to speak Sanskrit (the original language of key yoga texts), or chant to enjoy the multidimensional benefits of this ancient practice. Nor do you have to be flexible or familiar with any aspect of yoga to begin. In fact, inflexibility is one of the primary reasons this form of yoga is so effective. Most people discover that the more they study and practice yoga, the more they will want to make healthier choices and alter their lifestyle to support feeling and living better.

Our style of hatha yoga can be thought of as “flow” yoga because the poses move fluidly, with breath, from one pose to the next. Linking the poses in this way creates strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance for greater health and mental awareness. Many of the poses have different levels to them which make this practice wonderful for beginner, intermediate, and advance clients alike.
